En esta actividad el alumnado construye un modelo analógico del aparato respiratorio con el objetivo de estudiar los movimientos de inspiración y expiración. Durante la fabricación de estos “pulmones”, se realizan preguntas para establecer conexiones entre el modelo y el aparato circulatorio. Por último, esta actividad se centra en especial en las enfermedades y problemas que causa el tabaquismo y sus efectos visibles en el aparato respiratorio.

In this activity the students construct an analog model of the respiratory system with the objective of studying the breathing movements of inspiration and expiration. During the development of these «lungs», some questions are asked to establish connections between the model and the circulatory system. Finally, this activity focuses specially on the diseases and problems caused by smoking and its visible effects on the respiratory system.
